Our Story
Recent arrival direct from Panama from the team at Finca Nuguo. This lot is a mix fermented geisha from the family's first farm, Finca Jurutungo. Owned and operated by Damaris and Dafsne Gallardo, Finca Jurutungo is situated at approximately 1,600 meters above sea level. The Café Gallardo team processes both Caturra and Geisha varieties from this farm. This farm produces between 1 to 3 tons of Geisha coffee per year.
From Jurutungo:
“This coffee is a blend of Jurutungo natural lots with fermentation and honey lot with fermentation from 2024-2025 harvest. The natural lot underwent fermentation for 3.5 days at an average temperature of 30°C, and the honey lot also underwent fermentation for 3.5 days. After that, this coffee is being dried to stabilize around 10% moisture.”
