“In 2008, Jamison and Leslie Savage moved their family to the Republic of Panama where they established the renowned Finca Deborah, an extreme elevation farm dedicated to cultivating the exotic Geisha variety. During the last thirteen years they have been at the forefront of coffee flavor development.
Nestled in the embrace of a deep, emerald valley, at elevations exceeding 1850masl, renowned Morgan Estate is a hidden Geisha sanctuary. Volcanic soil, cool mists, and perpetual shade from towering native trees create a terroir so exquisite it feels almost sacred. Jamison and the Savage Coffees Team have worked this land for nearly 13 years, making Morgan Geishas a renown farm of quality and distinction. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, then guided through Savage Coffees’ signature washed and natural processes (some kissed by carbonic maceration) until they sing. The result is a cup of breathtaking elegance and character. Year after year, Morgan Estate Geishas easily score 90 and higher, placing them among the most celebrated Geisha coffees on earth. “Perfectly ripe cherries are hand harvested and pulped. The coffee is then placed on shaded, raised African beds to slowly dry for up to 15 days.”
